Gary Hasler

- Dip FP, CFP

Managing Director/Private Client Adviser

I have been in the Perth Financial Planning Industry since 1990 in a number of Advisory and Senior Management roles including on the executive of HOME Building Society.

I completed the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) through Deakin University and received my Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1998.

Providing strategic advice to my clients, I enjoy working with businesses and private clients to improve their financial and personal lives.

In my spare time I serve as a board member and I am the Chairman of the Fremantle Community Foundation, a not for profit charitable organisation set up to assist less privileged people in our community. As a founding Board member my role is to oversee the organisation’s structure and financial reporting, assisting in corporate donor engagement and assist in planning of large project based activities. I also assist and mentor not for profit business leaders in our community.

I am the founding Director of Boutique Advisers and the current Managing Director of the Boutique Group of Companies.


Andrew Bolingbroke

- Dip FP, CFP

Director/Adviser

I have worked in the Financial Planning Industry since 1990 in a number of advisory roles, including a Senior Consultant position at Deutsche Bank Financial Planning and Godfrey Pembroke Limited.  I joined Boutique Advisers in 2006 and became a shareholder & director within the business in 2007.

I completed the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) through Deakin University and received my Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1999.

I take a holistic approach to financial planning, providing advice in the areas of cash flow management, wealth creation, risk management, taxation planning, superannuation and retirement strategies. I have also developed relationships with a range of professionals through my networking activities to add further value to my personal financial planning and small business clients.

Outside of Boutique Advisers, I enjoy the outdoors and being as active as possible, including running, road riding or mountain biking. Supporting my two girls with their sports and spending time with family and friends is really important to me, I enjoy every minute of it.   

 


Kim Bailey

- CFP, Dip.FP, B.Bus

Adviser

While originally qualified as an accountant, I commenced as a financial planner in Perth in 1984. I hold the status of Certified Financial Planner, the highest designation of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

With an enormous range of technical expertise built up since 1984, I have the ability to explain technical and jargon ridden areas of planning in a simplified manner, for clients who are in the “wealth accumulation” stage through to fully retired clients. This includes dealing with the complexities associated with superannuation and retirement, taxation, Centrelink, use of structures in investment management, portfolio construction and management. In the superannuation arena I have extensive knowledge and expertise in the GESB Super schemes and providing GESB Financial Planning advice.

Outside work hours, I spend my time boating (of various forms), motor bike riding and socialising with friends and family. My wife Kathy and I have two boys aged 24 and 21.


Neil Cocker

- Dip FP, CFP

Adviser

As a former bank manager, I have been working with people’s finances for almost 40 years.  Over 20 years of this has been in the financial planning profession, ensuring I have a wealth of experience on different planning situations.

I have been with Boutique Advisers since 2006.  My specialities are in pre-retirement and retirement planning advice and I have a strong knowledge of Centrelink rules.

I follow both AFL & Rugby Union, and also love cricket.  I play golf and bowls from time to time and also enjoy singing when I can.


Tahni Davison

- Grad Cert FP, ADFS (FP)

Strategic Adviser

Prior to becoming a financial planner I had a successful ten year career as a surveyor, including running my own surveying business for several years. During this time my wife and I worked closely with an Adviser who guided us toward achieving our financial goals. We found this process incredibly valuable, and it inspired me to change careers. I have completed my Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning. My Masters in Financial Planning is underway and due for completion in 2019.

I really enjoy working with people and small businesses to achieve their financial goals; identifying a clients’ goals and objectives, and then the development and implementation of a strategic plan to achieve those goals.    Maintaining ongoing relationships is important to me as an Adviser. I value being there for clients and being trusted by them. I understand their situation and goals, and provide peace of mind when they’re faced with important financial decisions.

My spare time is spent with my wife and our family of three young children who keep us on our toes. If time permits I really enjoy getting out for an early ride on my mountain bike in the hills and exploring the running trails of Kings Park.


Katie McDonald

Strategic Adviser

I bring a unique experience to the financial planning profession, with over 20 years of personal investment experience, 5 years as a business owner working specifically with women and financial literacy, in addition to working as a business adviser for The Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

I have a Degree in Business (Finance), coupled with an Advance Diploma in Financial Planning.  I am also in the process of complimenting my extensive professional education by gaining my CFP (Certified Financial Planner) Certification.

I have a strong focus on strategic financial advice, using a comprehensive range of investment mediums tailored to suit my clients’ situation. I am an effective communicator and influencer at all levels enabling clients to achieve their personal financial objectives.

I am driven by educating people, in particular those who have possibly focussed on non-financial pursuits. I get the greatest reward helping women build their confidence when dealing with personal finances. Secondly, using my extensive business experience to assist small business owners manage their future financial wellbeing.

In my spare time, I am with my husband and two boys either cheering them on at different sporting events or enjoying the outdoors at Kings Park or any of the great beaches we have in WA.


Thomas Potter

I began Financial Planning in 1986. Since that time the processes of planning have changed dramatically. However, the fundamentals of securing our future, by having the right money in the right place at the right time has remained true. As a Certified Financial Planner, and Senior Associate of the Financial Institute of Australia, I am committed to the principles of maintaining the Best Interests of the clients with whom I work. Rapport, understanding and education will ensure the definition and review of goals and objectives, resulting in protection and growth over time.

I have 5 children and now grandchildren. Their development has come from guidance and nurturing, the firsthand experience of which has added to my technical understanding. It gives me great pleasure to work with people, both young and older, in the pursuit of their dreams.


Marie Watts

- CFP, FFin, GradDip FP

Since 1999, I have worked in a number of financial planning advisory roles, in particular within accounting firms as part of a strategic advice hub assisting both private and business clients, including those in the self-managed super fund space.

With a particular emphasis on taking the time to thoroughly understand what is important to you the client, and what your goals and objectives are, my aim is to deliver appropriate specialist and customised technical advice in plain English.     Areas of expertise include budgeting and cashflow management, wealth creation and investment, personal risk protection, tax planning, superannuation (including self-managed), Centrelink and Aged Pension entitlements and retirement planning.

I am a Certified Financial Planner, with a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science), and a Masters of Social Work.    I am also a Fellow Member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Away from work I am the ‘anything outdoors’ type, enjoying a range of activities including golf, walking and exploring new places in WA, Australia and overseas.   I also volunteer in not-for-profit organisations as a financial counsellor, providing support and advocacy to those who find themselves in difficult financial circumstances.


Brenda Will

In April 2005 I joined Boutique Advisers and have worked in the financial planning industry since 1998.

I am an accredited Aged Care specialist adviser, Certified Financial Planner, hold a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Financial Services as well as a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine & Surgery (Hons).

I am a passionate advocate of ageing well.  This often means working with clients in exploring financial options and accommodation options that help to prioritise health, lifestyle and fulfilment no matter what your age.  As well as assisting clients and clients’ families on a one on one basis, I also visit community, seniors and retiree groups to try to improve public education and awareness of aged care issues, accommodation options and the importance of ageing well, by speaking on these and related topics.

Shane Will

Finance Adviser

I have worked in the finance industry for over 30 years. After initially joining Westpac Bank where I worked for 4 years, I then joined Avco Finance (now GE Money) where I worked in various lending and management positions over an 8 year period. Since then I have gained great experience and knowledge having worked with various companies as well as running my own finance broking business for a period of 4 years where we employed 8 staff.

I joined Boutique in April 2007 to head up Boutique Finance – to assist clients with all lending requirements. This includes home and investment property loans, commercial lending, hire purchase/chattel mortgages (equipment finance), leasing as well as car and personal loans. I love the challenge of making sure that all my clients get the best possible deal & my personal motto is “the savings are better in your pocket than the banks”.

I am an Accredited Mortgage Consultant with full membership status within the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA). This is the leading body representing the mortgage industry. I also have a Diploma of Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management).

In December 2016 I was awarded Professional Finance Broker of the year by Specialist Finance Group as well as being a 2016 finalist at the Better Business Awards for Best Finance Broker.

I have also been named in the top 100 brokers in the country for the last 8 years through PLAN Australia, one of the top aggregation groups in Australia.

On a personal note, I am the only Geelong supporter in the business & have taken great pride in their performance over the last 10 years. I am also a mad golfer.

Belinda Good

Operations Manager

I commenced my role with Boutique Advisers in December 2015.  My experience in the financial planning industry commenced in March 2005 as a planner assistant.  Since then I have held roles within the industry as a paraplanner, administrator, risk adviser and operations/practice manager.

I completed my Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) in 2013.  In my role as Operations Manager, I am responsible for managing the Processes, HR, Compliance, Client Manager Team, Marketing and Corporate Relationships for the business.

I grew up on the North-West Coast of Tasmania, and have spent time living in Melbourne and other areas of Tasmania.  In January 2014 I made the big move across the country from Tassie to Perth.  In my spare time I enjoy visiting new places around WA and Australia, entertaining friends and spending time with my husband & his daughter.


Monica Matteucci

Client Manager / Office Manager

I began my career in the financial services industry in 1997 at Prudential Bache Securities (now Macquarie Equities) as a Dealer’s Assistant, assisting stockbrokers with Initial Public Offerings and share trading for personal, corporate and institutional investors.

From there I then moved into the Financial Planning realm in 2000 as a Client Services Officer with Gary Hasler at Professional Investment Management which was soon amalgamated with Home Financial Planning.  When Boutique broke ground in July 2003, I was integral in the set-up of the processes and procedures and helped transition existing clients and other businesses into the Boutique fold whilst continuing to assist clients with their day-to-day administration requirements.

I enjoy a dual role within Boutique. As a Client Manager, I prepare client’s Statements of Advice, provide financial planning support for clients, client reporting and liaise with fund managers and other institutions. In April 2010, I was also appointed Office Manager where I am responsible for business reporting and general office management.

I have completed my Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and am currently finalising my studies in Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning).


Jasmin Mack

Client Manager

I began working in the Financial Planning industry in 2010, starting as a client services manager for a small financial planning firm, eventually providing support to three advisers after a merger with another firm.

In December 2015 I joined Boutique as a client manager and provide support to Andrew Bolingbroke and Marie Watts. In my role I provide financial planning support for clients, client reporting and liaise with fund managers and other institutions.

In my spare time I enjoy travel, books, and music.


Mimika Xanthis

Client Manager

I started my career in the Financial Services Industry in 2005 working at Advance Asset Management as an Adviser Service Manager. The role consisted of analysing monthly reports and attending to financial planner queries.

After the birth of my second child I took some time off to care for my two young children. During this time, I also helped my husband in his business.

In 2011 I re-entered the Financial Services industry when I joined Ambrosia Financial Services as a Financial Adviser Assistant. This position gave me extensive experience in dealing with client’s financial queries and industry compliance.

I joined Boutique in November 2015 as a part-time Client Manager for Thomas Potter assisting him with financial planner support and dealing with financial institutions.

My interest in the industry inspired me to complete the Diploma in Financial Planning.

I am very grateful for the lifestyle and opportunities that Perth has offered my family since immigrating here from South Africa in 2001.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends and supporting my sons in their sporting activities.


Kylie Ingenito

Client Manager

I started in finance in 2008, I worked in a bank as a teller and supporting the financial adviser we had who travelled to our small town in South Australian once a fortnight. I found that I enjoyed the role with the financial planner so when I left to move to Townsville, QLD, in 2010 I went straight for a job in financial planning and I have been in the industry ever since.

I have done many different roles within financial planning over the years and I have met some wonderful people along the way. My Husbands job has us moving around every few years, so I’ve been lucky enough to work with financial planners all around the country. I jointed Boutique in March 2017, I currently support Katie McDonald in the role of Client Manager.

Outside of work I enjoy exploring the many parts of Perth, walking my 3 dogs with my husband and enjoying BBQ’s with friends.


Tanya Kimber

Client Manager

My career in the Financial Planning industry began in 2003 when I was still living in Bunbury. In this time I have worked many different roles including Financial Planner, Paraplanner, Support Officer and Client Management.  I took a short break from the Financial Planning industry for 2 years when I decided to travel overseas.

I completed my Diploma in Financial Planning in 2006 and am currently studying my double Diploma in Project Management and Management & Leadership. In March 2017 I joined Boutique Advisers as a Client Manager and I provide support to Kim Bailey.

Outside of work I enjoy training for mini triathlons, hiking, travelling both overseas and within Australia and spending time with family and friends.


Jennifer Jarvis

Client Manager

My Career commenced in the financial services industry in 2010 with Westpac. From there I have worked in smaller financial planning offices in the capacity of support staff; managing and assisting the directors and advisers.

In June 2018 I joined Boutique Advisers as a Client Manager. I provide support to Brenda Will who specialises in Aged Care and Neil Cocker who specialises in retirement planning.

When I am not working, I enjoy walks, cycling and the gym. Catching up with my friends and family.

I love checking out the new and upcoming restaurants and bars in Perth.  I also like to visit the Margaret River/Dunsborough area as they are beautiful and picturesque.


Yvonne Stoddart

Lending Client Manager

I joined Boutique Advisers in 2009, having worked in Finance for 30 years. I started my career with Commonwealth Bank and have worked in various Banking Institutions gathering many skills that are now very useful in my current role as “Lending Client Manager”.

My interest in Finance led me to complete my “Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management”.

I work alongside Shane Will (Senior Mortgage Consultant), and thoroughly enjoy my current role.

I endeavour to ensure our clients always have a positive experience, knowing they have the best possible deal.

For relaxation I love boating and fishing with my partner, Paul, and spending as many hours as possible playing with my two beautiful granddaughters.


Melissa Cook

Receptionist

I have worn many hats throughout my career history and have worked in several diverse industries including Hairdressing, Hospitality, Film and Television, Mining and Construction and Government to name a few. One thing that I have carried across all these roles is my love of people and having the opportunity to support my colleagues.

In my spare time I love to indulge my creative side by styling hair for photo shoots, various arts and crafts and cooking and entertaining for friends. I love Perth and its growing cultural scene. I live in a loft apartment in Highgate with my gorgeous British Shorthair cat “Meatball”.


James Eason

In July of 2016 I joined Boutique as a Client Manager Assistant having graduated from Curtin University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance. I also hold a Diploma of Financial Planning.

I have a deep interest in financial markets and enjoy reading value investing material in my spare time. I am also an avid Arsenal supporter.
